Much in the world has changed in the last few years. A pandemic, new wars, mass famines, a financial crisis, and an increase in corruption of business and politics – all threaten the lives and livelihoods of tens of millions across the globe (perhaps even you).
In the areas of finance, spirituality and self-determination many millions more dance futilely with the Devils of inadequacy and hopelessness, often alone in the darkness.
What can be done about it?
The answer is harder than you think because the answer is You. You can be done for it and then better for it.
Each of us is a being of independence, for better or for worse.
There is both a potential for greatness and inadequacy in independence yet most find it hard to embrace these extremes, let alone understand their power.
We’re capable of self-reflection, adaptability, and self-actualization but only if we understand what these mean.
This is why we fail. Not because of what happens around us, but rather the inability to decide what to do about it in a way that demands immediate and decisive action towards a worthy cause/outcome for ourselves and those in our care.
Far too many have fallen within themselves to fear and hopelessness, perhaps more so than we’d all like to acknowledge as it may be so close to home as to be sickening to contemplate.
But these feelings exist in all of us and if left to grow in our shadows they will eventually be monstrous enough to threaten what lives in our light.
You are not the world, and the world is not you.
Deal with the Devils within reach, and the rest of them will weaken in your presence.
